Khal is a splendid example of the gypsy breed with all kinds of personality to go with it. Khal is black with a gorgeous blue eye and 3 white stockings. At a month old (photos at 1 week) Khal is already growing in his feather up to the knee and it is clear he will be well feathered, like his parents.
Khal is very thick boned, has great conformation, and has a smart head on his shoulders. He is learning all the age appropriate trainings with ease and tackles new challenges with a thoughtful approach.
This boy is very brave and keeps his mother running after him as he takes every chance he can to explore the world.
SD Empire of River Lane Ranch is the 2020 Virtual TGCA World Supreme Halter Champion, and 2020 Virtual TGCA World Supreme Riding Champion. He has a long proven show record prior to that title.
The quality in both Painted Princess and Empire is obvious. Both horses are heavy with feather, have plenty of bone, and great conformation. Additionally, both parents have proven themselves as excellent producers. We expect Khal to mature to be something spectacular and would like to see him find his way to the show ring.

SD Mikimoto’s 2023 foal touched our hearts the moment she was born. We call her Persephone around the barn and she is sweet as sweet can be. If she sees you working around the property she always gives an inviting call to let you know and then comes to meet you at the gate for snuggles and scratches. She loves everyone and is such a joy to be around. Along with her friendly temperament is a braveness and kindness that is irresistible.
Not only does she have the temperament we would expect from Miki and Poseidon, but she is a beautifully marked blue roan with 3 stockings and a sock, and a thick blaze. She has the perfect small and dainty gypsy head shape and should mature around 14hh.
This girl has been retained as a prospect for our program.

Alabaster is a BIG boy who is going BIG places. Since the moment he was born he has touched many hearts with his fun personality and kind heart. He is very brave and quite the character; he loves to keep his dam on her toes!
Alabaster is black with four white stockings and a dark blue eye. He also has white under his belly and some splashy markings up his right side and on his neck. We believe he will turn out to be blue blagdon.

Blue roan tobiano colt
Tsunami (affectionately known as Omi) was practically born standing. Within the first 10 minutes of birth Omi was up and nursing. The day after he was out and running around like a whirlwind. His dam, Painted Princess, has had quite the time chasing after him.
Tsunami has an absolutely wonderful personality. Kind natured, honest, and sweet.. He will be a heartbreaker for certain. In addition, he has quite the striking tobiano markings like his dam. The roan is really just icing on the cake.
Both Princess and Poseidon are incredibly kind and gentle horses to handle, and we expect the same from this colt growing up. Based on the parentage, we expect Omi to be around the 14hh mark for height. Furthermore, both parents are thick and hairy! This colt will be one to watch for.
